There goes another year and I hope the next is good as 2011. Its Saturday, New Years Eve, a high of 55 degrees and I had to work today but it was not that bad, I was home by 3ish and just in time to walk the dogs. They act like it's their first time going to the park every time we go. After that was a quick trip to the store to stock up on some much needed dog and cat food. Now comes the good part.. food, as in dinner. It looks like Ginger was busy today making some goodness in the kitchen. Soup with butternut squash, green beans, zucchini and much more and served with some local made bread and cheese. Oh, how I love food. OK, now what to do? Well tonight we attempted to take star trail pictures, actually this is Ginger's photography project. This consists of taking multiple shots over a couple of hours with a very long exposure, well I think we need to find a way to power her camera for a longer period of time. The battery died after around 15 minutes. The next project for me is to see how we can power the camera for a longer duration. Well it's 10:50 and we are calling it a night. Good bye 2011

Take One
Merry Christmas! Well it is a couple days after the holiday and I can say it was a great one. Why? because I looked everything form 10,000 feet, I have my health, a great Wife, family, employment (and a new patio mat for the motorhome) ..oh and George, Shadow and Gracie. This past year they (the dogs) were able to join us on a couple of trips. Not that I do not trust our personal dog sitter (my Sister-In-Law Sue) but it was nice to have them around with us and I can say that all in all I think they traveled well. So next year? What does it bring? Not that I have any resolutions but there are a couple of things that I want to accomplish. First is to be healthy and look for ways or habits to become healthier. Bicycling, hiking and being outdoors will be at the top of that list along with eating healthy meals. Well this is kind of a lame first post but hopefully with time I will get better.
